Ben Tombs

Ben was born in Hamilton, trained in Vancouver, and has been at Unity since 2014, first as the Associate and now as the Senior Pastor.  He’s a fledgling woodworker and a Greek geek, who thinks it's only coffee if it's black.  He looks up to range of people, from Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Eugene Peterson, to John Wimber and John Lake.  He doesn't believe in a divide between Word and Spirit, and has a passion for Scriptural teaching on the voice of God and healing.  In 2005 he married Chantel (a public school teacher), and they live with their children in Deer Park.
